A Commitment to Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) in Kenya

A Commitment to Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) in Kenya

In 2014 CLAN was proud to fulfil our commitment to the Every Woman Every Child movement, with the successful 2014 NCD Child Conference in Trinidad & Tobago (link to report here) and exciting launch of the Nairobi Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Support Club in Kenya (report below).

The RHD Support club launch on 8th March 2014 in Nairobi was a BIG success by all means! Having families with RHD Children present was a BIG SUCCESS, as well as getting KEY RHD CHAMPIONS and success stories in one room. Attached is our report for the day.

I thank you for the support you offered. I am looking forward to partnering with you more in future to support these patients and families and ensure a stronger community based approach towards eradicating RHD.
