What is the UHC HLM?
Achieving UHC is one of the targets the nations of the world set when they adopted the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015. The UHC HLM is when Heads of State and Government will approve a concise and action-oriented Political Declaration, agreed in advance by consensus through intergovernmental negotiations. It will be submitted by the President of the General Assembly for adoption by UNGA. They will touch base on progress made thus far since 2019. Additionally, the meeting is ensuring further steps are being taken to help make access to healthcare equitable. Learn more by reading the pamphlet attached below:
